How does it work?

Button Master works using raycasts to render a 3D version of a 2D map. This is the same technique used in early computer games such as Wolfenstein 3D. There are 60 lines on the screen at all times, each which corresponds to a ray shot out from the player. Lines are rendered using the distance from the player to the wall. The further away the wall is, the smaller and darker the line is drawn.
